PCOS Support Medicinal Tea

Specialty blends work best as decoctions rather than infusions (boiled rather than steeped). 

1. Add 1 1/2 - 2 tsps of blend to 2 cups of water.
2. Bring to a boil then simmer for 5 - 10 minutes.
3. Remove from heat and allow to steep for an additional 10 minutes before straining.
4. The longer you allow it to simmer/steep, the more potent this tea will be.

 

NOTE: Don't throw out the herbs after first use! You can add another 1 1/2 cups of water and simmer to make an additional cup of tea.

Chaste tree (vitex) berries helps to regulate menstrual irregularities, helping to relieve PMS symptoms (breast tenderness, headache, fluid retention, heavy bleeding,  and premenstrual tension) and menopause symptoms (hot flashesm, headaches and night sweats).
