Alkalizing Medicinal Tea

Specialty blends work best as decoctions rather than infusions (boiled rather than steeped). 

1. Add 1 1/2 - 2 tsps of blend to 2 cups of water.
2. Bring to a boil then simmer for 5 - 10 minutes.
3. Remove from heat and allow to steep for an additional 10 minutes before straining.
4. The longer you allow it to simmer/steep, the more potent this tea will be.

 

NOTE: Don't throw out the herbs after first use! You can add another 1 1/2 cups of water and simmer to make an additional cup of tea.

Alfalfa helpts to regenerate vitality, treats chronic and acute digestive weaknesses, aiding in the assimilation of protein, carbooydrates, iron and calcium. Alfalfa is suitable for acute and chronic inflammatory symptoms associated with degeneration, acute cystitis, burning urine, prostatis, peptic ulcers, as well as vafrious arthritic and rheumatic complaints. Alfalfa is also known to increase mother's milk.

 

Peppermint leaf contains high amounts of calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, protein, thiamine, iron, niacin, potassium, riboflavin and vitamin A and is one of the oldest remedies for all digestive problems. Peppermint leaf helps to pass blockages in the kidney and gallbladder, strengthens the nervous system, cleanses and tones the body while promoting relaxation, relieving muscle spasms and increasing blood circulation.
