Hojicha (roasted green tea) Latte

Made with Japanese roasted green tea leaves, naturally sweet flavor and a pleasant, toasty finish.


½ tbsp. Hojicha powder (avail April 2022)

½ tbsp maple syrup

1 cup milk (of choice)

1 tbsp hot water

Cinnamon (optional)


Matcha whisk or metal whisk


  1. Combine½ tbsp. of powder, ½ tbsp. of maple syrup and 1 tbsp. hot water to a small bowl.

  2. Use whisk to blend completely.

  3. Heat 1 cup milk.

  4. Transfer Hojicha mixture to cup and top with warm milk.

  5. Top with cinnamon (optional)

  6. Drink cool or warm.

** You could also enjoy your Hojicha latte iced by adding all ingredients to a jar with some ice cubes and shaking well to combine.
